What is Picklly?
Picklly is a community platform built specifically for pickleball clubs. Each club gets its own private site with their colors, logo, and community — all powered by the same platform. Players can track their stats, earn badges, join leagues, challenge each other, and upload photos, all in one place.

Your player profile is your identity in the community. It shows your stats, XP level, badges, and history.
Your Profile Card
🖼️ Avatar & Frame
Upload a profile photo. As you level up, you unlock special card frames to show off your rank.
✍️ Tagline & Bio
Write a short tagline that appears on your card, and a longer bio on your profile page.
🏓 Skill Rating
Set your skill level (e.g. 3.0, 3.5, 4.0). Links to your DUPR or USA Pickleball profile if you have one.
🌟 Featured Badge
Pick one badge to feature on your profile card — show off your best achievement.
How XP Works
XP (Experience Points) are earned through activity. The more you play and engage, the faster you level up.

Level Progression
Badges
Badges are earned achievements that show up on your profile. There are over 30 badges across multiple categories — some earned automatically, some admin-awarded, and a few are hidden until you unlock them.
Milestone Badges
Earned automatically when you hit certain thresholds — first check-in, first challenge win, 25 wins, etc.
Achievement Badges
League champion, runner-up, and bronze finisher. Awarded when league results are finalized.
Legendary Badges
Rare badges for extraordinary contributions — Player of the Year, Community Legend, Night Crew OG.
Community Badges
Refer new players to the community. Earn Recruiter at 3 referrals and Ambassador at 10.
Hidden Badges
Mystery badges you won't see until you unlock them. Watch for the surprise reveal!
Admin-Awarded
Special recognition your community admin can grant manually for standout moments.

Check-Ins & Streaks
Checking in at the courts is how Picklly tracks that you've been playing. Every check-in earns XP, counts toward your streak, and can unlock badges.
📱 How to Check In (Website)
Log in to your community site, click "Check In" from the home page or the Players section. Available during and after session hours.
💬 How to Check In (GroupMe)
Type !checkin in the GroupMe group. The bot will log your check-in and post a message. You must have linked your account with !join first.
Weekly Streaks
A streak counts how many consecutive weeks you've checked in at least once.

Challenges
Challenges are 1v1 matchups between players. Issue a challenge, play the match, report the score, and your opponent confirms. Results count toward your XP, badges, and leaderboard standing.
Challenge Formats
Best of 1 (Bo1)
One game to 11. Win and earn +75 XP.
Best of 3 (Bo3)
First to win 2 games. Winner earns +100 XP.
Best of 5 (Bo5)
First to win 3 games. Winner earns +130 XP.
How a Challenge Works

Leagues are organized competitive seasons managed by your community admin. Players sign up, get scheduled into matches, play games, and earn XP — with badges for the top 3 finishers at the end.

Photo Gallery
The gallery is a shared space for community photos — great shots from the courts, match moments, and social events.
Uploading Photos
Go to Gallery and click "Upload Photo". Add a caption and tag any players. Photos may require admin approval.
Upload via GroupMe
Send a photo with !photo to upload directly to your gallery. Add a caption: !photo Great dink battle today!
Player Tagging
Tag yourself and others in photos. Being tagged earns +5 XP per tag and counts toward the "Caught on Camera" badge!
Albums
Photos are organized into albums — each player has a personal album, and admins can create event albums.
When & Where
The When & Where page tells you everything about showing up to play — court location, weekly schedule, and session types.
Court Location
Full address, embedded Google Map, and parking notes.
Court Amenities
Number of courts, lighting status, restrooms, and parking — all displayed.
Weekly Schedule
See which days have sessions, times, and whether it's Open Play or Flexible.
GroupMe Updates
Session cancellations and changes are announced in the GroupMe group.

GroupMe Bot Commands
The Picklly bot lives in your community's GroupMe group. Once you link your account with !join, you can use any of the commands below right from the chat.
